DMH Barrier Coating products represents a platform coating technology for paper and paper packaging which can be applied to give various performance properties to paper ,including ,but not limited to ,improving wet strength, water resistance and grease resistance. The technology is unique at it can be recycled without segregation, and it can biodegrade under standard conditions.
Excellent water/grease resistance
Low surface tack and good resistance to blocking
Fully recyclable and repulpable
Plastic free, PFC free, Silica free
Good stability
Excellent heat sealability
Recommended coating method: Rod Coating. Air Knife Coating, Anilox roller etc.
In order to obtain excellent film formation, sufficient drying is needed.
Recommended drying temperature:100-120℃,with infrared drying is best . The curing can be directly finished after drying and achieve the targeted performance.
The following starting formulations are recommended for initial evaluations. Further
Optimisation of the formulations will be required to achieve desired results for specific applications. End use performance will be dependent on dry coating weight .Two coating layer is suggested for better coverage ,3-5 gsm for each layer if
Developing cup coating; if wrapper paper and paper bag suggest 2-5 gsm for dry coating weight.
